Safe Work Practices for Clinical Staff: The 1, 2, 3 Approach

This module focuses on safe body mechanics and safe work practice principles for lifts, transfers, and repositioning techniques to reduce injuries to both residents and staff in long-term care (LTC). This module can be completed by clinical staff (registered nurses, personal support workers). This module is related to topics listed as part of the mandatory training requirements for LTC homes in Ontario. The length of this module is ±40 minutes.
